The digging has started!!

First there was the tearing up of the carpet then new carpet was installed instead of wood floors and then the POD left then this happened.  I think in November they finally sent the results of the soil sampling and it said that the leak did not cause the house to be unlevel.  So the insurance rep came out in November to tell us what they would cover and it was some cosmetic things and the digging and filling of the huge hole.  So they have started on the digging and the jack hammering today and will continue working next week to get the plumbing fixed and then fill the hole.  It's been 7 months to the day since we started this ordeal and it's not even close to being over.
