Our trip to the Pink Rock

Pink Rock

Trying to get a family portrait

Just a little windy at the top!

When Sean was almost a yr old we went and camped at Enchanted Rock. It quickly got nicknamed the pink rock by Mackenzie. I think Daddy had described it to her as a big pink rock that we would climb and camp by. So we decided to make a day trip and head down while the kids were out of school. It was the perfect day for it! The weather was slowly changing while we were there and gradually got cooler. We hiked up to the summit then headed down to a cave where the kids each got to go in with Daddy and check it out. We only had 2 headlamps so it was just easier to break it up to the two kids. I stayed out with Ryan and whoever didn't go and we had a little snack and looked around. We didn't really get a lunch so we headed back to Fredericksburg to eat at the Fredericksburg Brewery. Then we headed back home in a very quiet car with three sleeping and very tired kids.
