Yesterday we went to Zoe's 1st birthday party. The theme was circus and boy was it! Probably 10 little ones and then a few older ones along with mine. Chantel went above and beyond the norm for this party. Her birthday cake was a custom circus roundtop cake and pictures to follow. She had sippy cups for all the kids with their names on them. They had a pool, sandbox and sprinkler to play in. Her husband built a really nice deck with ceiling fan in about 3 weeks around his job. It was a nice party for a 1 yr old and I think Ryan enjoyed his first party. I know Sean enjoyed playing in the pool, mud and rain. Mackenzie liked being part of Zoe's party and getting to be around all the babies. all the sippy cups on ice

Mackenzie and Kiera reunited
Today we started our daddy being in Boston. So far we have survived. Went to the gym this morning and the kids loved playing in childcare. Mackenzie got to "babysit" both Ryan and Maia. She said Maia crawled in her lap so she "had to hold her." Came home where Ryan took a 30 min. nap. Ate a little lunch then headed to Bobby Lane house to check on everything. We went to visit with Lainey and Kiera and their 4 dogs!! I should say that Lainey is fostering two of them for an organization called Golden Ribbon. 3 of them are golden retrievers or mixes of and the 4th is her original mutt dog Momo. Mackenzie loved being around Kiki again and they acted as if they haven't been apart for almost an entire year. I hope they continue to be such good friends. They played on the computer, with the dogs, dolls and ran around an empty house at Bobby Ln. I think my ears are still ringing from the shrieks of all the kids in the empty house.
