Some time ago Grandma got this idea to buy Mackenzie a bed with an area underneath for a desk etc. We had found one at the second hand store but it was sold before we could get in there. So she then found this bed online at Ikea and Mackenzie fell in love with it. So we didn't think it was going to be that tall but once it was built it was VERY tall and Mackenzie wasn't even comfortable sleeping up there. So Daddy thought we could cut it down which has taken us about 6 months to get up the nerve to actually do that. Daddy marked the legs and I held it up once one leg was cut and it all went really well. Mackenzie is super happy about it now and can't wait to start getting her hideout together. All 3 kids were under there last night with their glow sticks having a great time.
