Saturday night we had tickets to a Rangers game. Sean has been wanting to go to a baseball game for some time and insisted that when we get there he gets a foam finger. We are still not sure where he learned about foam fingers but we did get him one. On the drive over to the game it was raining, lightening and thundering. So we knew they would be postponing the game and sure enough when we got there everyone was standing around trying to keep out of the rain. It was stopping about the time we went in to get the foam fingers and so we headed down to our seats after that. It was a little wet but we just went ahead and sat down. We were close to the bullpen where the pitchers practice. They were doing autographs but we didn't make it over there for that. It was a really good game and the Rangers got a home run and that was really exciting. A small firework went off and they played music and everyone was waving their foam fingers.
Ryan loved to dance to the music in between players and Mackenzie took over almost an entire row when the people that were sitting there left.
We ate the typical ballgame food.....hot dogs, cotton candy, and popcorn. We almost got some peanuts but we didn't.
We finally left to get the kids in bed and watched the game at the hotel. Ryan saw the game on and he said "me baseball game."
They all agreed that it was one of their top 3 favorite parts of the trip.
