Ryan's Birthday Day

A leftover Krispy Kreme donut with some candles brought him some joy today.

Here at the dr's office.........he liked Mackenzie reading him a book

The day was not at all what I was hoping for to celebrate Ryan's 2nd birthday.  We got the older two off to school and as I was driving back from dropping Sean off Ryan fell asleep.  So he then took a 2 hour nap in the early morning which is not like him at all.  He woke up around 11:30 and was burning up!  I got him some tylenol and he ate a bite of lunch and then proceeded to hang on me till we left to get Sean.  We went to get Mackenzie then off to the dr's office.  We got to the dr's office and about that time the tylenol was wearing off and Ryan was cranky and sleepy.  When the nurse took his temperature it was 100.5 which wasn't as bad as it has been over the past two days.  Then Dr. K came in and checked him out and he's got double ear infection, pink eye and the rash.  So we then went to get his prescription and as we left HEB Ryan fell asleep.  He woke up to eat another bite of food, a quick bath and off to bed again.  It's a good thing he doesn't even know it's his birthday.  So we can just pretend tomorrow is the BIG day and give him all his presents then.  Poor guy!
