We went down to Canyon Lake on Saturday morning and got there in time to eat lunch then head to the water.  The water was really nice to get in since it was so hot!  Ryan would not even put his feet on the sand so he sat in his chair and watched everyone.  We went up for a break from the heat and just to relax.  Ryan took a short nap before we headed back down there.  This time the sun was starting to set and it was a little breezy.  

We grilled out that night and then used the coals to make smores.  YUM!  Ryan enjoyed his first smore and picked it apart piece by piece.  The kids all crashed hard since they were very tired from all that swimming.  

Sunday morning we got up and ate breakfast and then headed down for more splash time before heading home.  This time Ryan actually put his feet in the water and stood there for a minute.  Then it was back to his chair. It was a very relaxing time and the kids had a blast!
