Saturday was cold and rainy around here. First we cleaned up Mackenzie's room a little(boy did it need it!), then ate grilled cheese and tomato soup, then we met all the cousins up at Extreme Fun. It was wild in there that day. 3 birthday parties were going on while we were there.  Ryan stuck to the toddler area for most of our time until he discovered the BIG slide. He climbed up those little stairs and threw himself down. Sometimes on his back, others on his stomach and sometimes with Sean helping him with a nice brotherly push.   He had the biggest grin on his face every time and was proving to us he was a BIG kid. He must have done that slide 50 times! The other kids weren't ready to leave but we were going to go to the Tea house and meet my brother and SIL for dinner. Sean ate 2 huge helpings of Chicken Fried Rice and Ryan ate well too!
We left there to discover my tire was flat and went straight across to a gas station where Jed filled it up and it seems to be fine today.

Sunday:

Mackenzie was supposed to sing this morning for 3 of the services.  So we were to have her there at 9am.  I finally got everyone dressed and ready to go and we had to leave a little early to get around the marathon runners.  Basically we were boxed in by the race in every direction.  I decided the best way to go was around to Koenig then hope that the policemen would usher us through when there were breaks.  Well, after 10 min of sitting there and only 1 car went through I was started to think we should have stuck to the original plan of walking.  I was finally able to hook a u and headed south towards 45th.  Same situation and same back up there.  So by this time it was 9:30 and she was not going to be singing for that service.  We headed home to get stroller and then set out to get her there by 10:30.  Got home and she changed her mind and we decided to skip the whole thing.

Later we went to the mall and ate at California Pizza Kitchen, got a present at Build a bear and wandered around Dillard's and Nordstroms(have to see the fish!).  Then headed back for a much needed nap for Ryan and running around for the other two.
