No water!

The boys loved seeing the water spraying everywhere

Earlier today we noticed a lot of water flowing down the curb of our street.  Shortly after we realized it was a busted pipe up the street.  So Jed called the city and I am sure others called them too.  Around 5pm this afternoon here came a bulldozer and several city trucks.  They first turned on the fire hydrant to relieve pressure I guess.  It went spraying everywhere and when it calmed down a little Mackenzie, Kelly, Juliana and Danielle went out to play in it.  They closed off the top of our street so we left to go to dinner the other way and when we came home they were still working on it.  The water was once again spraying out of the hydrant into the road.  We didn't have water for the nightly baths and teeth brushing.    They are still working on it as we speak but the water is back on for now.....who knows for how long.
