For her 7th birthday party Mackenzie decided to do it at the Mad Potter where you can paint your own pottery.  She's been there about 1/2 a dozen times and has loved it.  We went in a few weeks ago and choose what pieces her friends would get to paint etc.  We got there today a little early to set up and the manager couldn't get her car to start so she was running late.....an hour!

 So they did finally get the doors open for us a little before 10:30 (the start of the party) and we got everything set up as all her friends were showing up.  I probably should have just said an hour and a half for the party since those kids were done painting after about 10 minutes.  Oh well, they painted, ate pizza and had a cookie cake and then ran around making me nervous around all the pottery pieces.  No one broke anything and they all had a good time.  That's the most important thing!
