The last week before the holidays

This last week sure has been a crazy one.  Not only have I been trying to organize holiday parties for Mackenzie's class, planning the gift for Ryan's teacher and trying to pack!  Last night we did christmas with my family and gave them presents to take to my nephews and sister.  Then as we were eating Mackenzie was very tired but we thought it was allergies etc.  It turns out she had a rash all over her face, neck and upper body.  So I took Sean to his 4 yr old well check where he is in the 90% for both height and weight and we went ahead and had Mackenzie checked too.  Turns out she has slap cheek virus which has flu like symptoms along with joint pains, headache, and this rash.  Apparently she was contagious at some time BEFORE the rash showed up.  We have no idea if the other kids or kids in her class will end up with this.  Sean got 5 shots so we will have a fun time on the plane tomorrow!!
