The Elf on the shelf

We were given this book and elf as a gift and so far the kids love it!  The book explains that the elf is there to keep an eye on the children and reports back to Santa.  And every night he flies to the North Pole to report on whether the kids have been naughty or nice.  Every morning it is the game to find out where the elf is now.  He moves to a different spot once he flies back.  It's very cute!  We even name our elf and the kids decided on Markle and we will register him on the website as well.
