The Merkleins and The Remaleys at Downtown Aquarium



Wednesday we got up and went to find breakfast and wait for Mark and Amy to call. We decided to meet at the Downtown Aquarium. We got there around 11am and the kids instantly went to play in the water fountains and got soaked. Then we went in the aquarium and looked all around. Then we decided to eat lunch there and saw our neighbor and granddaughter there. Went to the ferris wheel, drop zone, and carousel. Rode the shark train which goes under a huge tank of sharks. Very cool! Then back to the water fountains to play before a huge clap of thunder and lots of rain came. We retreated inside for the rain to pass but that never happened so we said our goodbyes then ran to our cars. We headed back in 5 o'clock traffic in the rain. Not real good but we made it back. Ryan was probably asleep the first few seconds after not napping all day. Sean and Mackenzie were quick to follow. So it was a quiet ride home!
