3 is our lucky number!

Happy St. Patty's Day!!

Three must be our lucky number....that's the number of kids we have and that's the number of times it took us to see the lucky leprachaun tree. We ventured out today for our 3rd try to see the leprachaun tree and we made it! We went to the tree and Mackenzie knocked on the "door" but no leprachaun came out to grant her 3 wishes. She kept insisting that if she knock once more they would come out and she would get 3 wishes and then she would give him a coin from her wallet. Nothing ever happened but I think she was happy to have seen this lucky tree. Then they sat on the dinosaur "bones" outside of the museum and as you can see the puppy even got to sit on one.

Then we decided since we were there that we would check out the Texas Memorial Museum. Sean had a great time seeing the dinosaurs, Mackenzie had a great time seeing the big quartz rocks and buying some butterfly tattoos. Ryan wasn't real sure he was happy about it with his new round of snotty nose. We had fun going up the elevator and the kids took turns pressing the button. They saw the ant exhibit, lots of animals from around Texas and tons of dinosaur bones. Even though Mackenzie didn't get to see a leprachaun she still had fun going on this adventure and now she has a picture to show her teacher.
